Gas Cylinder T&CS 2025
As of March 1st 2025, we have brought our gas cylinder core T&Cs in line with our supplier Star Gas. This update will help ensure we can continue to safely manage our choice of Gas Cylinder sizes and gas mixes. We pride ourselves in having the right products in the best possible condition available to all our customers.
We operate a rent-free service. The cost of participation in this scheme is €100 paid against any new cylinder ordered from us.
We offer to buy back the cylinder within 36 months at a rate of €50*
We offer to buy back any Star Gas cylinder at €30

Emergency Gas Policy
We understand that, sometimes, you simply need a cylinder in a hurry to pour the weekend's beer, and we are here to help! Whether you need a spare cylinder to ensure you don't run short at your event, or you've unexpectedly lost gas, we offer customers the option of purchasing a cylinder and returning it to us after the weekend - outlined below:
Return within 10 working days to receive €100 cost of cylinder back in full*
If the cylinder is not returned within the specific period, our normal T&Cs apply
*Proof of Purchase Required
We extend this period during Christmas!
For emergency cylinders collected after Monday 15th December 2025, customers will have up until 2pm Saturday 10th January 2026 to return and receive €100 cost of cylinder back in full.

Read to Ensure your Safety:
Always connect gas cylinder to reducing valve.
Never try to connect cylinder directly to beer container.
Never connect cylinder to any equipment not provided by the brewery.
Always secure cylinder upright whilst in use.
Always keep cylinder away from heat.
Never drop or throw cylinder.
Never try to unscrew fittings from containers.
Always ventilate cellar after gas leakage.
The terms below were outlined in our September 2nd 2024 newsletter and via notice in-store from August 2024 - This gave all customers the option of returning any cylinders to us before March 1st 2025:

Things You Understand By Buying This Product
- I am responsible to ensure my gas and beer system is balanced correctly.
- I am responsible to ensure my gas and beer system is leak free.
- I am responsible for technical mistakes I may make with equipment.
- Keg dispense requires specialist equipment, reading, learning and listening.
- I agree to report any fault with this item within 2 working days of purchase.
- I agree to make every effort to return the item for inspection within 5 working days if there is a fault.

Orders and payment
Prices are in euro and include 23% Irish VAT. Full payment is required in advance to confirm an order. We don't sell alcohol to anyone under 18. Delivery days and times chosen when ordering are a request; we'll contact you to confirm.
Delivery, returns and refunds
Our Shipping policy and Refund policy form part of these terms. They cover delivery charges, collection, keg and parts returns, gas cylinders, rental deposits and event cancellations. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Rental equipment
A fully refundable €200 rental deposit is taken on all rentals, by card. It covers damage, loss or an extended rental period. Standard rentals are for one weekend and are due back the Monday after; extensions are charged at 70% of the equipment rental charge per rollover. Christmas hire is booked as one extended period, with the dates shown on the Christmas booking page. You are responsible for the equipment while it's in your care.
Using beer dispense equipment
By buying or renting dispense equipment, you understand that:
- You are responsible for making sure your gas and beer system is set up and balanced correctly, and is free of leaks.
- You are responsible for technical mistakes you make with the equipment.
- Keg dispense needs specialist equipment and some reading and learning. We're happy to advise.
- You'll report any fault within 2 working days of purchase, and make every effort to return the item for inspection within 5 working days.
