"The original of the 'species' , brewed in the town of Pilsen since 1842 the town which gives this style of beer its name. Pilsner Urquell is the first pilsner style beer (beforehand most beers were top-fermented, dark and cloudy) which has now been widely imitated throughout the world. This is a pale highly hopped lager beer with a crisp clean finish."
