Brewer's Notes
"From its origins as a 19th-century local beer, brewed in Amsterdam, Heineken® has transformed into a global icon, available in formats and variations that cater to diverse consumer needs around the world."
"Despite humble beginnings and barely being out of his teenage years, Gerard Heineken was determined to brew the best beer imaginable. That same entrepreneurial, pioneering spirit ensured that long after he achieved that goal, the beer has continued to reach ever-greater numbers of people around the world."
"Ensuring that Heineken tastes as good as Heineken should, no matter where you drink it in the world, is no small undertaking – and for the past fifteen years the responsibility for this has laid with our master brewer, Willem."
"Across 160 breweries in 117 countries, he ensures that every aroma and every flavor, every scientific and operational advance, is consistent with the Heineken ‘star’ of excellence."
Ingredients:
"Four Ingredients are at the heart of Heineken's success: malted barley, water, hops and the unique A-yeast. Discovered in 1886, this yeast is responsible for the fresh, pure taste of Heineken."
