      Can I place the fridge under a counter top and have the tap tower fitted to the counter top? 

      All you need to extend out of the fridge up to a tap mounted above is a bit of insulation: 


      You would just need to make sure no part of the fridge is exposed to the air. Same goes for the beer line. This ensures  the chilled temperature the fridge has achieved is maintained and prevents condensation build-up.
